In the charming village of Herand, with the famous Hardangerfjord as its immediate neighbor, you’ll find our family-run guesthouse Extensive renovations have taken place since we took over in 2019, with efforts made to preserve the heritage of the buildings’ original character.

The sauna was installed last year, and we kept some of the original interior as a reminder of simpler times.

From our floating dock, you’re welcome to borrow a kayak or paddleboard and take a trip on the fjord.

Lounge chairs are also ready for those who just want to enjoy the summer with a good book and something refreshing to drink.
